Realised Blue Building® Construction Projects

Starting in 2009, the Blue Building Foundation (FZE), which was based in Sharjah, has realized several construction projects in the United Arab Emirates. With these projects, Blue Building went ahead to realise its vision of taking the next step from green to blue eco construction.

 

The Blue Building Office is located near the Sharjah Airport. Between 2014 and 2020 (until relocation to its new headquarters in Scotland), the Blue Building Team has taken several mesurements, with the conclusion: The results of our technology are astounding.


During this period we have measured, based on 320m² gross:

 

Electric consumption in 12 months for cooling: 

3,980 kWh i.e. 332 kWh monthly, a saving of up to 80%


Average temperature                       

23°C inside, at an outdoor temperature of up to 50°C


Relative humidity                         

50-60%


Dust particles                             

Reduced by more than 99.995%


CO₂ levels                               

between 219 ppm and 840 ppm (with 10 employees)


Luminescence Measurement                       

1,300 lx, which is higher than in a photo studio, no artificial light is needed during the day.


Noise Sound Level Measurements daytime*

Average 32 dB(A) indoors, while outside it goes up to 90 dB(A)
